NHS ENGLAND & IMPROVEMENT – South East and Dorset

As of February 2020, NHS England and Improvement introduced the Dental Electronic Referral System across a number of geographical areas including South East and Dorset. This covers all orthodontic, oral surgery, maxillofacial, oral medicine, restorative and special care/paediatric referrals.

We do not accept written or typed referrals from General Dental Practitioners for patients in South East and Dorset. Each referral must be made via the Dental Electronic Referral System (DERS).

The DER System was hosted by Vantage Health now NEC Software Solutions UK who will be able to provide you with appropriate access, allowing you to make online referrals. You can register your practice with an account to use DERS by filling out this web form: http://signup.vantage.health/
